Someone at Aaargh Records keeps creating these great felt and embroidery show posters (I posted a felt liger last month). I finally found the master gallery over on Myspace (login required), but I still don’t know who the textile design genius is. Joey MacDonald, I guess?
The Myspace gallery comments sum it up. “Who made this?” “I love that so much!” “I have to know who made that!” There’s a mysterious felt wizard at large in Victoria.
Aaargh is doing a great job multiplying my excitement about local talent, between these posters, the Annual Compilation, and the sheer number of band names they’ve treated to this typographic excellence. (The excitement seems to be catching, too!)
