Aloha and Ahoy!

May I sing with me?

Another daily recording experiment. I think there are five or six vocal tracks on this song. I wish I could say this was vocal jazz or something, but it’s not. Just regular type.

Enjoy!

hey dink… you gotta tell people when you are doing this stuff (you too sarah)...i shouldn’t have to ferret it out like a common whore,... like a common whore galen!!! this is great by the way… i really like all the tunes, i have been listening to all of them with great success… the sandwich song is a minor hit inside the household here!

also i quoted you for a paper! that’s right fucker! i used some of your lyrics from the greatest appetite!! i don’t think i knew that song existed, it is my favorite of the newies that i know of… and hey what’s with having an i’m incredible song without reference to being able to bend at the knees?

be good people, love you.
matty, son of leslie.

oh hey guess who’s seeing the strokes for free tonight!... i know you dig em guy, me too! i will give you a report after the show

Doctor, this was announced in the last newsletter. If you haven’t signed up, do it now! I’m glad you’re enjoying the songs, but feel sorry that you had to stoop to whoring in order to discover them. Oh well, life is like a barrel of monkeys sometimes, right?

What sort of context were you quoting me in? I am very curious. I hope it has to do with economics.

And sorry about missing the whole “bend at the knees” thing. Maybe I could have fit it in during the bridge. I know it’s the true mark of one who is incredible.

C’mon, i don’t like newletters you should know that! i’m not going to read that. just call or email when you’ve got something for me to check out… but i will visit this site more often now that i know you have this stuff here, and a comment deal too.

the paper was unfortunately not on economics… it was on man’s relationship to history (philosophy as the realization of the intention of nature) in German Idealism… and thought retreating to its primordial relationship to myth in Schelling… i like your line “history stokes and swells/it wants a good story to tell”... i used it as an epigram and dropped the band’s name.

ps. i may be in austin-jersey tomorrow…
