Over a period of several months Marc Jenkins has slowly been absorbed into Elephant Island. Now the transformation is complete and we are five! He brings with him the sweet sounds of the pedal steel guitar, which makes us sound more awesome than ever! Peter Vickers aptly described the band’s new sound as having more “bottom meat”! Well, you heard it here first. Bottom meat.
In other news, we just sent the new mixes down to Nashville (!) to get mastered by Jim Demain. He did Andrew Bird’s last album. Nashville! Weird!
