This year, the Vancouver International Film Festival is showing a short film by our talented friend Marjorie Celona. (Congratulations on the world premiere in the big city, lady!)
Nicht Angegeben is 10 minutes of mysterious coming-of-age, based on a short story by Jeanne Shoemaker. I saw it previously at a UVic student film festival where Marjie picked up all kinds of prizes.
Elephant Island is playing a show in Vancouver on the 13th as well, so you could have yourself a tasty cultural double-header. (I’m going to!)
