Aaargh! Records is achieving again: they are releasing their second annual compilation of local indie music this weekend, and holding three star-studded release parties! A carnival, basically.
Elephant Island has a song on the compilation (Your Day, I think), and so do all the talents from the release parties, an assortment of usual suspects (Chet, Carolyn Mark, etc) and newer comers, and apparently even the long lost Daddy’s Hands, for which I am quite excited.
If Aaargh! holds true to its history of good sense, you’ll get a great deal on the compilation CDs at any of those release shows, and the products themselves will be intricately crafted, with a certain rustic charm.
