OK! I think this is the last event I need to post today!
I will be giving a talk about ideal vulvas—genital self-esteem, pornography, puberty, plastic surgery—at the 16th Biennial Meeting of the Society for Menstrual Cycle Research, at UBC in Vancouver.
This will be an updated version of a similar talk I gave last October, to introduce a screening of the movie Petals.
This is a multidisciplinary conference covering new science and health research on the menstrual-ovulatory cycle, as well as art, politics and “other” perspectives on women’s health, reproduction and sexuality. (I applied under “other.” Every conference should cover “other!”) Early registration deadline is May 1.
