miscellany? Welcome to the mish mash that puts the misc in the media house.
A house of miscellaneous learning, offering custom diplomas and degrees in miscellaneous fields, as well as the chance to teach your particular expertise. Tuition by barter and negotiation, classes by creative correspondence.
Once a flourishing online institution, UPiss is currently idling while the entire faculty pursues solo projects. The resources are still safely intact inside a sturdy pink filing cabinet, if you have a hankering to create a course in a subject you hold dear! Contact the doctors of science through the Aloha House.
Pronounced SA-lon.
This is a house of miscellaneous beauty where amateur European stylists give people amateur haircuts, with a completely amateur, European atmosphere. Possibly the only beauty salon where the 4-track recorder sees more action than the hair dryer.
Although the salon has only had one paying customer since 1999, the stylists reliably conjure up creations in other media while waiting around for potential amateur-perm victims to phone.
Monsieur Guy has spearheaded his most significant stylistic trends from his seat under the Dry-De-Luxe (The thin moustache renaissance in 2000! Bowl cut fever for Spring 2002!), and it was in the salon that Monique began several of the romance novels that she now spends her free time editing into choose-your-own-adventure format ("Nightmare of Passion!", "S.T.Demon!").
Once upon a time, Monday Magazine thought UPiss was one of the "best sites in Victoria."
